Las Vegas, Nevada USA baby!
I've never been one to name my bike or any vehicle. Although my dad called out WWII jeep Nellie when I was a kid on the farm in Montana in the 60's.

I have a bunch of actor friends from the theater troupe I acted with telling me I should name my Vision. Well I really never thought about it until today. Then it came to me. The USMC Helicopter Squadron I was in (Hmm-161) had a logo of the mythical flying horse Pegasus. SOOOO, I've finally named my flying steed! PEGASUS!

Anyone else come up with a clever name for their Vision?

I like the name as it fits the bike totally.

What part of Montana did you grow up in? I grew up on a farm outside of Scobey Montana in the north east corner of the state. I miss the farm but not the cold winters. I get back there every few years now and love riding my bike through the state.

I don't know how clever it is but we are going to call ours Cherry Mash. On another note; edradio, it's interesting that you chose Pegasus. I was a member of an Army Helicopter unit in Korea who were known as the Innkeepers(half the reason my wife and I call ourselves the Innkeepers) and whose symbol was also the Pegasus. My wife and I are involved in geocaching(sort of a GPS based treasure hunt) in which we are also known as the Innkeepers and our symbol is the Pegasus.

I am guessing mine may be called "Dredd" after the movie Judge Dredd. Not sure tho.... Presently, I just refer to it as "the Vision" to differentiate it from the other bikes, "rat", and "Evil Twin" ----Metalguy

MyVision is called Jetson. Took it to biketoberfest last year and was sitting at Rossmeyers H-D When a guy came up and said george Jetson must be here. I turned around to ask the guy what he wanted to know about the NEW AMERICAN MOTORCYCLE! Hence the name Jetson.

"Vis" for now, as I haven't had anything strike me as an appropriate name for her. Yes, all my vehicles are "hers". As the saying goes, "if it flies, floats or rolls, it's unpredictable & costs lots of $". just like women

Miles= 4398 as of 02-19-08 Not too bad for an old guy

The kids at the local Subway shop see me coming and say "Here comes the guy on the Movie Bike."  They told me about that after I came in one day.  Thought it looked like something out of a Bond movie.  I tell them that we're working on the "submarine" mode and tweaking the missle tracking system on it. It carries a surprising amount of ammo in the saddlebags for the rear facing gatling guns.  Maybe that's what I'll call mine....Gunner.

With the gunner tips on it you just might get a few of them to believe it.

A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty "Hi Yo Silver!" The Lone Ranger. "Hi Yo Silver, away!"

How many times you "Old Farts" heard this back in the '50s. Anyway, my Super Steel Gray is named "Silver" after the great TV horse.

I've recently heard someone refer to their Vision as the "AstroGlide"

After blacking out a bunch of parts on my '06 CNSS Jackpot last year, I dubbed her DarkNESS. The Vision has yet to become anything that wouold cause me to call it anything other than what it is...

So far I'm still calling mine Big Vic, that's what my plate says. I started using that name 2 bikes ago because I installed the big bore kits. Since the Vision has 106" it still applies. Maybe I'll get more creative and come up with something new.

That is funny! My riding club's mascot is an alien. (D.O.A. 51) Descendants of Area 51. I was thinking of getting a plate that said "STRSHP"-----Metalguy

My wife calls mine the Batbike. I tried to get a personalized plate for BATBIKE but it wasn't available in Ca. I settled for VISN NV. The plate should be in any day now.

all my bikes get named BettyLou ThelmaLiz but then again I can only own one bike at a time. That way there is no confusion and they don't get jealous when I speak their name.

Savannah, GA -Year round riding!! Yay!

I just call mine my ViVi. I reserved the plate VIVI 08. It should be in the end of April. One of my friends calls me "Batgirl" now. I have downloaded the Batman theme and put it on my MP3 player, so I can blast it over the speakers. Another friend has taken to picking up his cellphone when I pull in the parking lot and faking a call to 911 going "Help, I've just spotted a UFO landing here on Earth!" (I've threatened to abduct him and do an anal probe to search for intelligence....but that's another thread, isn't it?) I need to find the MP3 of the Jetson theme......

Funny. After all the comments I had been getting, I downloaded the Batman (original series) theme song, the Jetsons theme song, and the Star Wars Imperial March.

Mike, thanks for the links, they're now on my iPod to play the next time someone says that it looks like a bat, something that George Jetson would ride or that's something out of Star Wars. Believe be I've heard all those in a single day, and one that says it looks like a giant bug.

Thanks for the Jetsons' Theme, Mike! And the Imperial March is a nice touch... I hadn't thought of that one! I also have that song "Unbelievable" by EMF from the movie Coyote Ugly on my mp3 player. That's gotten a couple of giggles when I've pulled in for fuel before (I can't find a download site for it....)

Shall we have a day set aside just to name our Vision - BucKnAKD Buckeye. Christen it, with drink of choice, and tip it up for all the boys and girls in this club.
