So I am installing a CB on Vision and got to step #30. Any help understanding where to drill the hole would be appreciated.

Whoever did these instructions should be fired. Step #28 is actually step #30 as Step 28 says. "Flex and remove the trunk floor panel and retain for reinstallation." It is absolutely the worst instructions I have ever seen. I think some of the Chinese instructions are better than this. Who proof reads this stuff?

It appears that step 29.5 is missing - Remove seat filler panel so you can see the dimple.

Here's a post I made of how-to's back in Dec '08 when I installed mine:

I wish I would have found your write-up first. I think I would rather put together a house full of IKEA furniture before I do this again.

Here is what my old dealer did with my rear switch.

They used some type of RTV to glue the switch in.

I no longer wonder how they went out of business.

That's why I let the dealer install mine.....I saw another in mid-install and decided that taking my new bike appart for this was not one of the first things I needed to do

Lone Ranger, #34 under module installation. I 100% agree with your post (looks like it can't be replied to anymore). I installed the CB module and bottom bolt when I had the trunk skin removed to install the antenna. It is IMPOSSIBLE to install this any other way.
