Posts: 62 ESCALON CA. | I AM THINKING ABOUT PAINTING MY DASH FLAT BLACK, UP BY THE SWITCHES TO ELIMINATE THE REFLECTION ON THE WINDSHIELD. ANYONE ELSE TRIED THIS, OR HAVE A BETTER IDEA? |

Posts: 367 Cottage Grove, Mn | You are talking about painting the entire consul cover correct? I color matched mine and it looks great I got rid of the reflection issue and I don?t have to see that ugly silver stripe. |

Posts: 301 Buffalo Grove,Ill | I painted not only my dash black but the instrument bezel as well. You can see them somewhere in my gallery by following the link below/
I didnt go flat though i went gloss. And yes it eliminated all the glare.
I did mask off the inside of the dials on the bezel so that they would remain chrome. I think it came out great.
The images are on Pg. 38 and 39 of My gallery (not the main gallery the one on my page)
Hit last and back up to 38 and 39.
thanks
