| I remember awhile back the allen socket was dicussed when rmoving the front wheel axle. Someone said it was a 16mm but that seeme strange because you very seldom see that size. It looks to be 17mm to me. Also someone had different options and places to get the tools. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

ET,
What is the part number? I could never find one on the shelf at Sears so I bought a four piece set that is a standard and metric hex 1/2 in. drive bit socket set. The set includes 9/16 and 5/8 in. & 14 and 17mm sizes. Sears Item# 00934482000 | Model# 34482 $39.95 list
I had a tool discount coupon plus I used Christmas money to buy them, so I did not mind putting the other three in the tool box.
All,
If you like Craftsman tools and getting discounts then join the "Craftsman Club". A friend at work told me about this over eight years ago and it has saved me a ton of money.
1 It is free.
2 You get to shop the sales before the sales start at lower prices then the sale price. Usually about 10% below the sale prices.
3 On the Wednesday and Thursday (Thanksgiving day) before Black Friday you can go in and beat the crowd and pay Black Friday tool prices.

Posts: 388 Salisbury, NC | radio, I'm in Talladega, Al at the moment. It will be next week before I get back home. But I was in Sears at Daytona and seen it just hanging on the tool rack all by itself. I had already bought a 5/8" and just knew that I would never find the 16mm because I have looked for one all over the east coast. ET |
