Has any one tied nitrogen in there tires.Im only getting around 6 to 7 K from my E3 s. Ive only got 13000 on my bike & ready for my 3rd rear tire.I keep a good eye on my pressure .Ive only managed to take A couple of long trips with the bike loaded down & two up.For what it cost for the tires i fell like i should get at least 10000 miles or so out of them.Who knows i may have another problem that hasn't surfaced yet.I thought that nitrogen might keep the pressure more even instead of going up and down with the heat.Any advice?

Wow, I'm getting 22k on the front and 15k on the rear.  Sounds like something besides air pressure.

I have not used nitrogen in my bike tires yet but I did have nitrogen in my car tires for over 1 year.
The tire pressure never varied the entire time I used nitrogen.

I got 10k miles on my rear and I'm still on the stock front. I changed my rear sooner than needed. If your checking air pressure and that's not the issue then I can't se how nitrogen will help ur tire life...? Now if not checking the air pressure then that explains it and nitrogen might help u. That's or a tire air pressure monitoring system..

Ive had nitrogen in my Lexus for 4 years. Ive had two psi drops in the timeline. If you research on the internet you will find
that nitrogen is a hoax and that the preliminary findings of using it did NOT prove true in real world application. The only reason i put it
in my car was because my dealer did it at no charge, and when you have nitrogen, you get these nifty pretty blue nipple covers for your vehicle to denote "im special i have expensive gas in my tires" ha ha ha dont waste your money if its going to cost you extra. My Vision tires hold pressure very well, only have had to add twice a year. I did have a tire guy suggest to totally deflate the tire, then re- inflate it and see if it seats on the rim better. Not sure if thats true or not, but it cant hurt.

Some claim crazy tire wear numbers but it's safe to say you should get at least 10,000 miles out of a rear and 15,000 out of a front. I had a friend that went through a set of tires in 6000 miles only to find out he didn't check his tires near often enough. If you check your tires weekly then all I can suggest is you must be loaded heavy, running hard, in the desert heat which all will shorten tire life.

....or running the pressure too low.

So, can we talk pressure? Before you say it, I'm aware of the sticker inside the saddlebag. But those of you getting 10+k on a rear, what pressure are you running? I have always found , on a car, that sticker recommended +5psi will give long even wear. But you do sacrifice some ride quality. What does the vision like best?

We bought our Vision last September and immediately put Nitrogen in both E3s. Wife and I are both large framed adults and 95% of our riding is two up. Our roads range from chip-n-seal to turnpike with ? mile of gravel leaving and returning home. Tire pressure is at sidewall recommended and suspension pressure is maxed. We've put 4800 miles on so far and the tires both tires look brand new. The pressure doesn't fluctuate at all. The really cool thing about Nitrogen is its ability to make the tire run cooler. Remember that heat is a tire killer. One ride into Oklahoma in September, temp was low 80's and after about 150 miles, I touched the tires and they were only warm. This reinforced my decision to switch to Nitrogen and I would recommend it to anyone.

I just got new tires (E3s) mounted on my new Wrath wheels so I thought I'd fill them
with Nitrogen.(Since I work for a gas company, IT'S FREE) Alot of our customers, car dealers
race drivers and tire shops buy it from us,so I'm pretty sure that it will yield good results. and
like i said it's Free. But unfortunately we are still A-hole deep in snow so it will be a while before
I can try it out. Also trying Dyna Beads.

Ride safe (If you can, If you can't STAY WARM), Mike

I run the recommended max pressures. Without looking I think it's 40 psi rear and 38 psi front.

I know its fun and cool but all those burn outs impact tire wear... Personaly I dont mind throwing on a new rear twice a year just to see the looks on those HD guys faces when they choke on my tire smoke...

Watch the big red V your gonna be seeing a lot of it....

I finely got home and had a chance to read the posts.I always check my pressure especially if the bike has sat for a week or two .If i know im going to be doing a lot of riding over a week end or heading out on a long trip.I keep the rear at 40 psi the front at around 38.the rear has never been below 35 before adding more.I'm wondering if i don't have an alignment problem Im going to get the rear end off the ground and take some measurements .Ive been getting a burnt rubber smell after i run it hard .My belt chirps a little when its cold.
