For you without a local dealership, where & how much are you paying for Victory's oil change kit? I see Ebay has it for $58.99 shipped. I am going to start changing my own oil until something stops working.

Oh, and what is the torque on that drain plug for tightening? I got a torque wrench since I always tighten too much. Just ask my Kawasaki's retapped drain bolt in the aluminum casing.

Your pricing shipped is pretty much in line what dealers are getting when picked up in person. If I remember correctly from last December when the Vision was put away for the winter, torque on the drain plug should be 15 ft lbs. Does not feel like too much but that is all it takes!

Just a thought. If you are only going to save a buck or two by ordering on eBay from some stranger, it may be worthwhile to just go get it from your local Victory dealer. Support your local economy. Build a relationship with your dealer. It makes repair time a little easier when the dealer knows that you support him. He will be more likely to help you a little.

That is my 2 cents.

I agree, my dealer sells it for $59.99. I haven't found it much cheaper online . Not worth it for a couple pennies .
