I've been eyeballing the Vision Street Premium for about a year now. Yesterday I stopped in my local dealer and was offered a new 08 Vision Street Premium, with a trunk added, for $17,488 plus tax/tags/title. That includes a 5 year warranty. Does that sound fair and reasonable, or better than that?

Thanks!

That's about a grand less than I paid for my '08 Tour Premium a year ago, and I didn't get the 5 year warranty. If you are adding the trunk to a Street version, make sure all the keys match. One key should operate the ignition and all the luggage. The dealer can make this happen, but if you buy a trunk separate from the bike, the trunk key usually doesn't match.

I would think that is a good deal even without the trunk, about a $1500. goodie. Your looking at a sticker around 21500. and some change. For all intent and purpose the 08 and 09 are the same. I believe the only mechanical difference is the 09 has a couple pads molded into the frame for mounting the reverse option. (So be sure you have no plans to add reverse) And they eliminated the street for 2010. They replaced in with a cheaper vision 8 ball which is pretty trimmed back. By the way, just to mention it, Polaris is still offering the $1000. military coupon if you have an active, reserve, or retired ID.

I don't know where you are located but my dealer had/has an '08 that I think was about $15k without a trunk. He was talking about putting a trunk on it a few weeks ago. Might be worth a call.

Call All Ohio Motorsports in Bedford Ohio (northeast of Cleveland) at (440) 786-2232 and ask for Todd. Nice people. My Vision is the third purchase from these people.

Good Luck,

Glider, you did not show where you are from. I found my Victory using Cycletrader.com
Then I found my coupon on another website. I bought my 09 Blue Ice Vision Premium Tour after coupon for $17,495 from Shoals Outdoor Sports in Tuscumbia, Alabama. You can't beat the extra 4 year warranty. Good luck ! Go get you one and enjoy.

Just bought my '08 Vision Tour Premium for less than that with the 5 yr warranty and some extras. Tell 'em to try harder.

I know on the VMC site, Bair's had a near new (titled Dec '09) '08 Tour Premium for $15999 just a week or so ago. Included 5 yr warranty from Dec '09 and I believe a Stage 1.

I found the coupon and printed one out. I'm in Illinois, about 30 miles east of St Louis. I am getting a very good trade on my 07 Yamaha 1100, cause they know that bike. So, I feel pretty good about the whole deal. I'll be visiting the dealership tomorrow to close.

Thanks! I look forward to many years of riding the Vision and visiting here!

Isn't Victory currently laying out an extra $500 rebate on the 08 and 09 models? Thought I seen something on it....

Lotzafun is right, Victory offering a $500 coupon on '08 and '09 Visions, if you register on their website. I used it to get mine, which will arrive tomorrow.

By looking at this post....it appears that perhaps you can "stack" the deals..... http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=5283&...

Well, it's a done deal! I signed the paperwork today on the 08 Vision Street Premium. They are adding the trunk, so it should be the same as a Tour, correct? The trunk will be installed in a few days when they receive it. I also got the extra $1k discount as a retired Air Force member! I traded my 07 Yamaha 1100. Before I give them my Yamaha, I'm taking all the extras off of it to sell on the 1100 forum site. That will take me few days, and at that point the dealer will pick up the yamaha, and deliver the Vision (it's still REAL cold here, and a fairly long ride to the dealer). Total cost after trade: $13,300. I think that's a pretty good deal since over $1000 of that was tax, title, tags, setup, and any other charge the dealer could think to tack on.

Picked up my 09 Ice Blue Tour Comfort in Sept from a private seller for $17K. It had only 750 miles and came with extra 4 yr warranty as well. Enjoy.
