Posts: 123 Marysville Washngton | In the process of putting the bike back together from the winter projects and just had a chance to start it with the Atom Bomb Exhausts. I took out the black inserts in the stock tail pipe tips to allow for full sound. What a beautiful rumble. |

Posts: 127 OHIO | AB exhaust does sound good. I only saw one insert as you call it in the right side header pipe. I left it in, and put the AB muffler on. |

| I sent out my stock pipes to Bob to do his magic. I can't wait to get them back. From what I've been reading online, they're good as if not better than the Ness Big Honkers. $200.00 + shipping is all he charges. Mega deal if you ask me. |

Can't speak to the sound difference as I had stock pipes with the black inserts in the tips and never ran the bike again until I put the Atom Bombs back on. As to removing them, that was easy. You drill out the 3 rivnuts on each tip and the black insert comes right out. As for putting the stock exhaust tips back on with the wide open look, that's a bit of a different story. I ended up buying a rivnut tool to duplicate what Victory had done to fasten them. Some have said that they used small bolts and acorn nuts to put them back on as well. I wanted the tool anyway for other things. |
