Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | Read the whole article. Because our bikes use 2 bulbs for low beam and high beam, you will lose your high beam with this kit. There is no way to make HID kits both high and low beam without two separate bulbs and two separate ballasts for each function. |

| Actually atvtinker, a bi-xenon kit solves that problem........
I plan on eventually replacing my halogen hi/lo with HID but noticed that the bi-xenon setup on this site is a bit steep at $300, you might be able to do a little better elsewhere........

Posts: 460 Centennial, CO | Thanks for the heads up about hi/lo! I didn't think about that! Like the idea of a dual...but at 300...I can wait!
I have the HID mid light and the two lower driving lights. Tons of extra light which is what I am after.
Any idea if I can replace the two lower bulbs with stronger lamps? This may buy me some time until the price of duals for my head lights comes down. |
