Posts: 208 Wichita, Kansas | Not sure what you're asking. The LEDs will work just like the bulbs, which I assume are legal since vehicles don't have to be modified to be legal in Wisconsin. Whether the cruise will work with LEDs can only be answered by trying it. Most do, but some don't. No one has figured out why yet. My cruise works just great. I'd say put in the LEDs and see what happens. If the cruise doesn't work, I'd put the stock bulbs back in the bottom and try it. That might increase the current enough to work and since the bottom is red anyway, the clear LEDs won't show there anyway. |

Posts: 92 Eau Claire WIS. 09 vision | thanks kg. what i wanted to know is i want to put amber in the top but they can't be lit all the time. because in wis. you can't have amber running lights in the rear, so i want to put in 3156's instead of 3157 so they are only lit when turn is on.. so if they are not on in normal running will the cuz still work. i also tried the led in bottom and regular in the turn i found out the cuz will not work that way.. i'll wai till spring to try, here its -4 snow ice and salt cant ride till april just wondering if any one else has tried it...dave |

Posts: 208 Wichita, Kansas | Hey Dave. Sorry, been gone for a while. Not sure if the 3156 would work. It only has one circuit, but I don't know which one. Why not just take the 3157 and cut the base wire for the running light part - just make sure you get the right wire

Posts: 575 Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | I was wondering the same thing. My amber 92's stay on in running light mode. I think there are three wires to socket. I'm thinking a "vasectomy" of one of the wires will keep amber running lights off. Anyone know which wire this is? I "might" just run with my amber running lights on and see what happens.
