| I am far from the highest but I have managed 24k in 18 months out of which 6 of those months are knee deep in snow (no riding, lol). Other than some radio issues, multiple headlite replacements (lense not bulbs), nothing I would complain about. Oh vic does have a new headlite assy if you experience any issues and a new radio.
I've probably had more issues than anyone on the board. Lots of folks have this or that issue but I seem to have gotten all of them and a few nobody else has experienced. With that said they have all been what I consider minor and none of them left me stranded anywhere. As you might imagine from the mileage I go during the ride season so having a bike that will get me back home when I want is a plus. The Vision gets me home every time.
As for tires? I've replaced 2 E3's on the rear both at 10k. The front should have been replaced at 15k but I ran it out until 17500 (mistake on my part). I've since installed the Avon Cobra's which are working nicely for me.
Only thing I'd change about the Vision is the oil change interval but that isn't going to happen given the engine design. So I'll change it every 2500 and not worry about it. I run synthetic on road trips in case I need to run it a bit longer, but I run syn all the time anyhow. Opinions on brand will vary but any top brand MC specific will do for you (you choose).
Hope this helps..... T |

| Ark, I believe I read where varyder replaced his pretty close to what the recommendation suggests, but I also recall he said the belt looked ok with no cracking etc.....
I "believe" that Victory based it's recommended service intervals on the "average" riders annual mileage. That would put bike use between 2300 and 3200 miles annually. That would seem to figure given the fork fluid interval, brake/clutch fluid changes, etc. I can't imagine any manufacturer recommending say fork oil replacement every year. So with that said I'm thinking the logic would call for a belt replacement due to time rather than actual wear.
I'm basically going to run mine until it appears it needs replaced. You know either the teeth are beginning to show wear, cracking or not sitting in the sprockets appropriately. I've ridden a lot of belt driven bikes in excess of 100k on the same belt and I can't imagine that the belts vic uses are of a lesser quality. Last I knew Victory recommended replacing the belt using a kit they sell which includes the new sprockets as well as the belt. I could check on the cost if it would help. |

The drive belt was replaced at 30,000 miles on my Vision, that is the recommended replacement mileage. The cost for the belt at that time 07/2009 was $330.00 from Victory dealer, that does not include labor to install. |

Replaced odometer console at 50,000 because it was draining the battery and header pipe because of leak, both covered under extended warranty.

Posts: 296 Central Florida | 42K here. Had all the factory recalls done, changed the belt at 30K due to some chipping from a jammed pebble.
changed front and rear tires every time at 10K (crushed coral in road paving materials) chews up tires.
I have used 3 sets of E3s and on my second set of metzlers. Mileage is about same and Metzlers stick a little better
if you are outside florida you will probably get better miles out of your tires..
replaced fuel pump at 40K under extended warranty. when you power up fuel pump sounded like a dying parrot...
no real problems with it, BUT the reason they go is because fuel filter is integrated into pump..

Posts: 1484 LaPorte,Tx. | develboy, mine is doing the fuel pump parriot squeel. Started at 40,000 miles, got 41,500 on it now. So as you now it, is it a filter issue or a pump issue? Did it leave you stranded by quiting all together? Looks like I'm going to have to run it to the dealer, hopefully no hassle. I too have the extended warranty. |

| I put 10,000 on mine in 4 months and my friend has a 2010 Vision with over 80,000 without problems. Next year I plan to get over 20,000 between my two Vics. |
