I have a new 2009 Vision, rode 35 minutes to work, 34 degrees with all heat on, and heated gloves.

Highs in the forty's, but when I went to crank the battery, no juice. Had to get a boost to start it, but it ran fine. Connections on battery were good, but the radio indicate low voltage? I just rode it this past Sunday for about 30 minutes. So it seemed strange that the battery would be dead two days later, and after I rode to work.

I don't believe the trunk light was on.

Any suggestions?

you sound a little doubtful on the trunk light, recheck, that's a start.

My first thought is to check your connections for your heated gloves.

You might have an accessory (parasite) drain on your battery.

You can do a current draw test by disconnecting your negative battery cable, connect a voltmeter (+) probe to negative battery cable and(-) probe to the negative battery post.  Should not exceed 5 mA.

RADIO / COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
RADIO SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS
The radio is equipped with a self-diagnostic feature that
can be used to quickly check certain radio functions and
signal inputs, and all radio and communication related
control buttons.
1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC and turn the radio off
(Victory Motorcycles is shown on display).
2. Turn ignition switch OFF.
3. Turn ignition switch back to ACC.
4. Press & HOLD the #1 preset button and MODE
button while turning the radio power ON.
5. The diagnostics mode is entered. Press MODE to
toggle through the diagnostic functions. To exit
diagnostics, press Power button.
NOTE: A “Watchdog Error Cleared” message will
occasionally appear as the first thing displayed. This can
be ignored, it is an internal software notification.
6. The first screen shows the radio software (SW) &
hardware (HW) revision.
7. The second screen is used to check buttons and
button wiring circuits related to the radio / com system.
The display contains two lines of “zeros”. Each
location corresponds to a radio button on the radio,
handlebar switches, or passenger switches.
A zero (0) represents a button not being pressed.
A one (1) represents a button being pressed.
If a “1” appears at an address in the upper or lower
row of the radio display the button and circuit wiring
are functioning correctly.
8. The third screen shows Tuner location, which will
always be set to USA.
9. The fourth screen lists the status of the radio Amplifier.
10. The fifth screen displays vehicle speed. This can be
used to test if the radio is receiving the vehicle speed
CAN message from the PCM. It could also be used to
test for a faulty CAN bus connection to the radio. If the
speedometer is working but the radio is showing zero
speed, it has no CAN connection.
Subsequent Screens (after screen 5)
11. If there are no accessories installed on the vehicle, the
display will go back to the first screen. If accessories
are installed, there are additional diagnostics screens
for each accessory, showing SW & HW revisions, etc.

I also have a ' 09 Vision. At 430 miles it sat for 2 weeks and battery was dead. May have been trunk light. Battery would not take a charge, had it tested and tech said it acted like a plate may have come loose from the post. Took the battery to Volusia Motorsports and they replaced it with no charge or no hassle. Rode Sunday and no problems but it goes in shop this week for 500 mi. service. Guess I'll get electrics checked out then.

I have purchased a battery maintainer and hooked it up yesterday. This weekend I will do the parasite leakage test also and let everyone know the results.
