Visionary Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA I had a great aunt that was the same way. I only recall her owning two cars, both chevy station wagons and she travelled a lot. I don't know why she bought the new wagon other than maybe the kids talked her into it. She paid extra to not have all the "extras" on a Caprice wagon, that came standard with all the extras. All she wanted was air conditioning and that was it and they specail ordered that car without power windows and seats, and I'm sure about the cruise control. She put many more miles on that one as well. She made several trips out west and parts in between. Very good article RT and if we would all be smart enough to grab the "lifetime warranty" stuff and then keep it long enough to use it.
