The problem with riding all the time is the exposure to hazards more. I'm riding home tonight on the the back road and folks were flashing lights at me, and of course blinding me. Since LEO will sit on this road and catch speeders I thought that is what it is, which I worry not because I'm not speeding. So I'm going around the bend and there in my lane is a huge Christmas tree, now I know why they're flashing me, of course I'm blinded also. So I swerve to right but I'm still going into this thing.

In my mind I see the Vision getting ate up in this thing and my riding days are over for the winter. Instead I'm into the edge branches and I have some small branches stuck up under the oil cooler and the left floorboard.

Just another reminder, be careful. Also, I'm glad I took a MSF ERC, hint, hint.

... and there I was...

seriously, there's only been two time, well three, that I've had the rapid heart beat on the Vision in the past two years, that was one of them...

The good thing is the vision has that fresh pine tree scent now, like one of them things you hang from the rearview mirror...

Oh, how dare you pull out the big guns and call on the KEEPER of SHEETROCK and KING of CLAY! You rang, I'm here! I myself felt a bit of pucker in the quick read. You shall now be hailed as BARK of VISION with hint of PINE. Curious, of course, to know whether or not you picked up a needle to clean your teeth with, or did you just grab it and throw it up on the back seat and keep rolling. Seeing how it was free! Seems like a good quick handlebar push and dive and then back the other way. Sounded like fun. Hmmmm!

I truely understand a few years back I ran on to a bale of hay in the dark in my lane with no where to go and a pack of Wingers following me at 65 mph no time to stop so I went up to on my feet and clamped the bars and went for broke. The final result was that the strings were broke on the bale and according to my friends following me i dissappeared in a cloud of hay. I then stopped and cleaned out my shorts hugged my wife who was on the back seat. We then went down road a little shaken and alot more cautious. Archie

radioteacher you are only embedding me along with BARK of VISION with hint of PINE (aka VaLongDistanceRyder) into the Halls of What Did I Get Into (HOWDIGI)!

Hopefully you got a piece of Hay to hang out your mouth as you rode along. Just a friendly reminder of your adventure. I can't hardly touch sheetrock, much less look at it with out a quick fleeting reminder of my adventure.

SandSmoochingCamelJim - you are wrong on so many levels. I was just getting able, through these last couple of years and lots of therapy, to go into my house without feeling dizzy and wanting to hurl the lunch cookie. I kept thinking the wall or the wife unit was a puffing and daring me, basically punking me. There you go bringin it all back. I recommend you go get another shirt, not one with Victory on it, but one that states, "I am now man, hear me roar! (in big letters)! In small letters, it needs to read, "She finally gave me my allowance, my pension, and my N*ts back, I'm just to old to use any of it except the allowance for more T-shirts"

Legal Disclaimer - this was intended to irritate, punch in the gut, slap on the shoulder, and give a man hug with the double back tap, just for the guy named SandinmyshortsMygirlfriendCamelJim. Why, because I'm not close enough to do it in person.

and if it infuriated or offended, my job here is done!
