I'm having the Level 1 exhaust installed on my new bike...they had them on the demo and they sound great. Should I stay with the standard tips or go with the Tail Gunners? Has anyone heard the Level 1 with the Gunner tips? How different is the sound?

Im going with the level II exhaust. It will eliminate the need to make that decision. I found that I do need more exhaust noise to calm my right wrist. Some one pissed me off on the ride home from work so I maxed out 3rd gear. I was doing over 70mph and it felt like I was goin 30. I need more noise to remind me when Im doing something stupid.

cj, you need to adapt the new BuckSter approch of calm and coolness when dealing with issues. Just put the baby on cruise and turn up the tunes and the world will be right. Oh, and your not doing stupid, you can't, your on the coolest bike.

I ordered my S1L2 exhaust the first of Jan, my dealer told me they wouldnt be in till 2-8. Checked on them on 2-5, my dealer told me Victory backed it up to 2-22. Got me thinking of ordering S1L1 pipes with the tailgunner tips, that are in stock. I wonder if i 'll miss the louder tone. Can't make up my mind! Ward

Got the S1L1 installed with tips. Tips make a huge difference in sound. I have heard them both ways...
