Hi

I need your help.....I have to submit my holiday requests by Monday, 07 Dec. Does anyone know the dates for the 2010 rally? We would really like to attend this year.

Thanks

I asked this about a month ago and the general consensus was the second weekend of August, like the past few AVR'S.  Nobody knew for sure, though.  If it's not August 13/14 then I'm hosed because I have to bid my vacation for next year when I get to work today.

If it's not that weekend, I'm still going to Spirit Lake and I'll have the whole place to myself.

KenandPen, I live here is Spirt Lake. I'll try asking around and post as soon as I find out. Just take the whole month of August off and you'll be fine!

Songfan, since I'm copying some of your mods, we'll need to compare bikes at AVR and maybe go for a boat ride and a couple of beers as a small way of thanking you for your excellent tutorials! BTW, how are those Muth mirrors working? I missed out on the group buy, but hoping to still get some installed.

Mark,

The Muth mirrors are terrific.  I passed a friend on the way to work one morning and he said he could see the Muth lights in the mirrors at least a half a mile in front of him as I changed lanes (daytime).  You could probably call Muth direct and sweet talk them into a group rate.  I've got the tinted ones that cut down on glare at night.  VisionTex and some others have drilled out the edges of the mirror housings and glued in individual LEDs along the outer edge and those work great also for a lot less $.  Either way, you can't go wrong.  It's a great location that really defines the width of the bike and I'm sure the drivers next to me appreciate it also.

I'd definitely like to hook up while I'm in your neck of the woods.  There are a lot of great people that I "know" on this forum but have never had the pleasure of meeting face to face.  Hopefully will remedy that in August.
