| Just don't loosen the tensioners, problem solved. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | the 20mm at 10lbs is correct, at the tightest spot. Your Rider's Manual has clear guidance on how to adjust the belt. The good thing is, because of the reduced tension on the belt, there is no need to adjust it after that, except when you change the tire and you loosened the adjusters.
However, regular inspections is a must.

| It's really too bad Victory didn't do the same thing that Harley does on the newer models for rear belt alignment, they have an oblong washer welded on the axle bolt, the other end has a grove or notch cut into the axle where another oblong washer is seated so they basically act like a cam, alignment is perfect every time only have to worry about tension, turn the axle bolt bolt and both ends than turn at the same time thus putting more or less tension on the belt, not sure what year they stated doing this but my 2006 had it have a 2008 now, makes rear tire changes a breeze,
VICTORY TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT A HARLEY YOU MAY JUST LEARN SOMETHING HERE,
OH I ALSO HAVE A VICTORY VISION SITTING IN THE SHOP!!!!!!!!???????? |

Where and when did this come out please as I am still going by the download manual. Anything else missed that you know of? (Like a missed recall!) |
