| Hi All,
For those of you that have the CB option, can you please verify the location of the CB unit? I would like to purchase the CB kit but would like to see if I must place it in the tourpack before proceeding. |

Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | Hello! The locatin for the CB/intercom unit is below the floor in your trunk. It is held in place with a threaded hole on top, and a nut and bolt (Damn near impossible to put it!) on the bottom. The wires that attach to it are run under the seat from the console to the back. I did all of this...also, the antenna neccesitates removal of the trunk so you can remove the outer skin from the trunk to drill the holes and route the wiring. BE CAREFUL OF THAT SOFT PAINT!! I think with all the goodies I installed, I have had my seat off about 4 times.-----Metalguy |

| Thanks Metalguy,
So if I understand you correctly I don't have to have my tourpack on to have the CB. In other words I don't have my Tourpack installed and don't plan to in the near future but I would like to have the CB option. |

Posts: 293 Arkansas | The CB unit is below the floor in your trunk: ATTACHED to to the structure of the trunk. If you want to mount it w/o the trunk,
you will be exploring new territory on your own. May be doable; I'm sort of thinking about it myself.
You will also have to mount an antenna somewhere-like the HD license plate mount perhaps.

| That's my reason for asking. I don't want to use the tourpack. I'm sure I can find some place to mount it. Here's what I would use for a antennae ---> http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail.asp?ProductID=LPCBA-100&PF=31 |
