Posts: 244 Lindale, TX | My seats arrived today!!!
I had Russell Day-Long customize the seats as well as the passenger backrest and my Utopia drivers backrest. All in leather and I love it. I feels great and my wife and I are very pleased with the apperance on the Vision.
We took a 50 mile ride this afternoon and it's perfect. Truely the Lazy-Boy of motorcycle seats and well worth every penny for me. My wife had no complaints about the OEM passenger seat, but says this new seat is 10X better.
Russell said this is the first Victory Vision they have done. I highly recommend the seat.

Posts: 506 Woodland Hills, CA | Looks great! As someone else asked, how much did it cost, and how long did it take? Also, do you have electric seats, and if so, did that present any problems?
I'd love leather! |

It was for me. Most love the stock seat.

I think it looks sharp, judging by the pictures. |

I'll keep you updated after I get a few thousand miles on this seat. Sorry you have to put your bike up. In Texas I can ride all year.

Posts: 1484 LaPorte,Tx. | Looks really nice and the price is not out of line. I like the original seat, but would favor a redo on the passenger seat and back rests just to get that area opened up a little. Passengers have a tendency to slide forward due to the bolster and the angle of the back rest. Keep us informed on how you both like the seat long term. Very nice addition to your Vision. |

Posts: 189 Baltimore, Md | Looks really nice! The ONLY complaint I have ever heard on the Russell seats is that they sometimes have a decidedly "aftermarket" look vs. the stock seat, since the seat is made to fit your butt - not your bike necessarily. That doesn't seem to be the case here. This looks great. |

| Very nice looking seat and I hope it gives you many comfy miles. I just can't see spending 1k for a seat no matter how comfy. I ride a lot and I've never felt the need to drop that much cash to stay in the saddle a little longer. Besides I need to get off to pee regularly, lol... Great loking seat, congrats. |

Is that a Russell Drivers Backrest or a Utopia Quick Disconnect that you have recovered to match? |

Posts: 244 Lindale, TX | I had installed a quick detach Utopia drivers backrest to my OEM seat. When I sent my seat to Russell Day-Long, I had them recover the backrest in leather to Match the seats. |

| I purchased a Russell seat for my vision, but didn't like the way it raised me up in the saddle. Sent it back and they lowered it a bit, but still not very freindly when coming to stop signs especially whith the Mrs on back. I am 6' with a 33" inseam and would still like a lower feel, but after almost $200 in freight for a couple of trips back I settled for what I have. It is just a little bit more comfortable than stock, but I will not spend that kind of money again for a Russel Vision seat. By the way the quality of the seat is great.
