East TN | I had one on my Road Glide...Excellent product...Just the head sets that they sell are terrible. J&M Elite headsets are the way to go for audio quality... I had the Autocom Active Plus intergrated my Zumo GPS with cell phone for bluetooth calls, bike to bike communication was a little touchy....Had tried two different radios Motorola GMRS/FRS radios) and had to SETTLE for the TOP OF THE LINE Kenwoods for a decent audio level for hearing the incoming communications. Everything else with the unit was top notch and had no issues with. excellent quality..Great customer support also!!
Biggest thing I had read on Harley forums and it makes sense, is if you travel with groups MOST will have a CB to talk with and not a GMRS/FRS radio set up...Once i had everything I needed to make mine work I had over $1000 invested in it, you could save a few bucks and get the Victory CB/intercom...works great and very well integrated into th econsole and user interface (controls) is very thought out!!

Marysville Washngton | My Kids use Chatterbox and I had a fellow biker give me most of an Autocom unit. I already have a couple of Motorola GMRS/FRS that should work so I was trying to use what I have rather than spend what I don't  |

East TN | When I used my Motorola GMRS/FRS radios the output audio level was TOO LOW!! I had very thihng cranked up to maximum and still could jsut barely hear it. It worked but was VERY hard to hear the conversation (bike to bike) everything else worked GREAT with the Autocom.... |

Tri Cities, WA | Scala Q2 multi set is great. works very well and seems to connect to all my blue tooth stuff with no issues. very good communications system. Can be had from amazon for 269.00 compared to 390.00 for what my local stores wanted for it. |

Marysville Washngton | So, I went to my local bike shop that used to sell Autocom. Turns out there is no longer a US distributor and they can't get parts. Can anyone comment on the Vision bike to bike and driver to passenger set up? Clear at speed? Easy to use? |

+1 my wife and I got them for our trip back in August and we love them,they are also a good safety item as I now wear my helmet 90% of the time just to be able to talk when I want too.Makes me more attractive also since the full face covers my ugly mug  |

Jasper, MO | I installed mine myself. It's not that difficult, the hardest part probably being the installation of the factory antenna. You have to take the trunk off and remove the outer skin from the innards so you can mount the antenna to the outside after drilling the mounting holes. An extra pair of hands is very helpful in this process, mostly so you don't scratch up the paint. Everything else can easily be done by yourself. The directions are fairly good. Read them beforehand, then read them again while looking at the bike. They mostly make sense. I did mine in one day, stopping for lunch and for a cool one. Actual time spent on the project was only a few hours.
BTW, you may have to have the radio reflashed after the installation if the CB and stereo do not have the same, or compatible, software versions. There have been several updates. Your dealer can do this with his digital wrench (computer).
