Hello guys,

I purchased my dream vision off ebay in NY several weeks ago. The seller highly recommended Haulbikes.com due to several experiences. I contracted them to ship my new bike for $560. After encountering pickup delays and a mis-pickup fee of $100 because they gave the seller only a few hours notice of the pickup, this whole deal is turning into a nightmare. I should have read the reviews on this company before contracting them. Some customers report receiving their bikes 2 months later.

I am seriously considering cancelling this contract and eating the $100 for terminating the contract plus the $100 missed pickup fee. I need a honest/reliable shipper that can deliver my bike from the east coast to the west coast without costing me an arm and a leg.

any help appreciated,

I bought mine from a Polaris Rep in California and had it shipped here to VA. I used http://eagleoneexpress.com/. Took a while but very pleased. They only haul bikes. Fully insured. Didn't need that though.

20 miles west of Chicago.
Check Lloydz website. He has a shipper he reccomends, and if Lloyd likes them, they are likely good.

I shipped a trike recently. I found a reputable shipper at a reasonable price through an on-line service called uShip. You can post a free ad on their site and within hours you will be recieving bids from dozens of experienced shippers. uShip keeps stats on their members in much the same way as e-Bay. Check them out at:

I bought my Vision on Ebay from a Dealer in Florida and had it shipped to Chicago and used:
http://www.motorcycleshippers.com/ It was about $600 with insurance and I was able to track its progress on the web. It arrived on time(approximately 2 weeks) in perfect condition.

I must need more caffeine. I read that initially as "honest/reliable STRIPPER needed" and thought "good luck with that".
