Did a nice little 280 mile round tripper yesterday to the Shenandoah Valley with the wife unit to see some old friends, very, very few that ride, and none rode except us. We a had superb time and of food and fellowship. As we were leaving and already saddled up we were heading out and some of the ladies wanted us to ride over by them in the parking lot so that could talk with the wife again. As they chatted one of them asked "don't you get tired of sitting back there?" My wife replied "not on this... the other one I did."

ahhhh, the things we do for love....

Glad someone is riding. I've been so busy I've only been out twice in three weeks and those rides were only about 30 miles each.

...it's a curse I guess. When I made the decision to pay as much for a motorcycle as i would a new car it was not about to sit. Riding has become part of life and that never gets in the way.

I'm am thankful that I live in an area that I can ride year round. Though there is a guy who lives up around the michigan area I think that has a website that rides year round also.

I was looking one time for winter tips when I found this site and he even rides in the snow and ice with studded tires. Now that is getting your fix on...

As for the belt: Changed at 44,500. while doing my 45,000 mile service. Next change will be 60,000 miles later, better said, when I have 104,500 on the clock, about two years from now. 54,800 on the clock today...
