Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Hey boys and girls. Just found out through my dealership who several of you have ordered the
V-pegs for your floorboard that they will not retrofit if you own the Standard Vision. For whatever
reason, they didnt drill the holes in the under side of it like they do in the premium Vision model bikes. (Makes no sense, its the same floorboard base). but in any case, you will have to drill
three holes in the bottom of your floorboard (unseen) to mount the V-pegs. Are they still worth it?? HELL YEAH, will it take 10 extra minutes,............. yep.

Thanks

| If you are talking about the highway pegs in the Vic catalog. They instructions say that you have to drill the holes, but when I popped the rubber floor mats out of the floor boards they were already there. So all I had to do was bolt them on. I have to say I don't have may miles with them, they are comfortable, but I they trap my feet so I in the end will most likely end up pulling them off.

They took me in at a moments notice and fixed some major recalls that were not done on my bike but should have been before it was bought. They also put me on a loaner bike to ride around Centerville to grab a few things while I waited. When I was there their lead wrench showed me a set of these pegs (minus the chrome and the "V" cuts) that he was working on. They were very solid. I don't have any need for them as I'm only 5'11 and like to ride feet-in but I would buy theirs over the Polaris ones any day. |

Jeff They're both pretty... but that would be the reason I've not got any on mine yet because of the possibility of getting my feet caught at a stop and then going down. I'm somewhat of a goof, and the vision makes me look good, I don't need anything to ruin that. I got off the wing because I got tired of riding spread eagle and on the vision they are not a necessity to me. I would like something foward though so I can stretch out and rest the ball of my feet. I've got an idea, just not the time or the resources at the moment. |

| Yea Varyder, I think I am going to end up making a mount that affixes to the tip over protectors instead of the floor boards. These will work for now, I have not tipped over yet nor have I come close. I have big feet size 14 - 14 1/2 so I like to stick my toes off the side of the boards and with the Vic highway pegs you can no longer do that.
