Posts: 117 Spring Hill, Tennessee | I got a bunch of questions. Hope you don't mind?
One of my complaints about design on my Vision is the difficulty in checking and filling air into the tires. These valve stems do not seem very "user friendly".
Has any changed there valve stems to maybe a "bent" stem that would make placing an air gauge or air line easier to access?
Thanks |

| I really don't have the problem others appear to have with the stock stems. Might be I've had baggers for so long that I'm just use to them. There is a company that makes aluminum angled stems that look pretty good. OR you could tip your bike over on its side like lots of folks and do it that way. It was brought up before and a link posted. I won't run angled stems because I don't feel they are safe, others will disagree. You'll need to decide for yourself. |

| I have used 90 deg. stems on both my Voyager XII's and my Royal Star Venture with no problems whatsoever. The total mileage on the bikes was approx. 150K |

Posts: 208 Wichita, Kansas | The angled metal valve stem was stock on the rear of the Kawasaki Voyager XII and I never had a problem nor heard of a problem on the forums in the 5 years I was riding one, until I sold it for a Vision - much more comfort but I do miss the power the Kaw had (once you got the revs up past 3500!). |

Even with an angled valve stem, it is still a pain in the arse to get on your hands and knees to check before everyride. |

Posts: 394 Tucson, AZ | I had the same problem. What I did was buy a 90 degree angle screw on extension. I use it to check and add air ONLY. Makes it a lot easier. |
