Posts: 305 Vineland, NJ United States | Can't evaluate wiring yet, haven't done that (gonna let dealer do that, don't want to screw up the 5 year warranty or the bike's electric). Everything else is assembled and hooked up. Pics are posted on the gallery section under my name. I put 50 pounds in the Un-Go and went out for about an hour on test drive: heavy acceleration, heavy braking, slow speed no-lean turns, high speed high lean turns, normal cruising, bumpy roads, smooth roads, hit 80mph. The only place I noticed the trailer was at parking lot speeds under 10mph and of course backing up. I am a little concerned that the front-bottom frame of the Uni-Go is only 6 inches off the ground. The Uni-Go dealer said no problem but wonder what will happen on a steep driveway?
So far, love it.

Posts: 600 Linwood, MI | Are you talking about one of those little one-wheel trailers? I've never pulled one, but I rode several hundred miles with another Vision pilot who was using one. What I can tell you is that the little buggers are like a freakin' clown car. He just kept pulling tons of stuff out that thing. I couldn't believe how much he packed in there. The only bad thing was that it seemed to be very sensitive to how all the gear was balanced in there. We had to stop several times for him to rebalance the load because it was causing him some handling problems. | |
