Hello all you NW Vision Riders. Is there anyone going to the Oyster run this coming Sunday in Annecourtis(Sp?)??? I will be going. I may stay in a hotel Saturday, part way up, but don't know where. I would like to at least meet up with some of you, if you are going. Please PM me, or reply here, and we can discuss it. ------Metalguy

We have gone to this event for many years but we are going to RENO for the street vibrations rally instead. Enjoy all the oyster run is fun.

I am planning to go. I have not made reservations for any of the ferries so will be going up I-5 from Lacey to Mount Vernon. I think one of my employees and his friend will travel with me. What time are you planning to leave from Tacoma? Maybe we could meet at the McDonalds at the 512/I-5 intersection at say 9am - is this workable?

Hey, Metalguy,

Sorry, I just saw that you were leaving Saturday, so a Sunday meet up with you will probably not work out. I have an exhibit at the Puyallup Fair and can't leave on Saturday. But if you don't mind riding that Vision on I-5 to Mt Vernon Sunday am just let me know.

Me and the Co-Pilot will be there weather permitting. It WOULD be nice to meet up with fellow Visioneers if we could set a time and place. MILES turned me on to his pal at Bob's Oyster Bar - good place.

I'll be there somewhere along the way... likely going to hang out at Bob's for a bit as it is my understanding they are doing porta-potties and some other comforts ...

As always - parking is a crap-shoot. It would be nice to have some 'Vision Reserved' parking.... Likely just a pipe dream. Last year - there could have been 20 Visions there - and chances of seeing another were zip and none. Except at the VICTORY Demonstration area. I wonder if we could park there???

Nothing to do with the Oyster run, but Hinshaws in Auburn will be showing the Cross Country Oct. 2, 3 and 4.

Went south today - other plans tomorrow. Every streetable (some not) machine within several hundred miles are in NW Washington - should be the largest ever Oyster Run. Had to satisfy the Co-Pilot with oysters at the Chuckanut Drive Oyster Bar.
Heavy Sigh...... oh, well. Drive Safe - Everyone !

Well, I was there, and saw not ONE other Vision. Bummer! It was a HUGE turn out, though! I will have to head to Hinshaws to look at the cross country. I wanna see it in person!-----Metalguy
