| The Lloyd cams and his whole set up is outstanding. The only negative issue is the rev limiter. The power gets you too 5500 so fast it actually needs to be higher. My dyno shows that the power is still climing when it hits the limiter. Is there any way it can be raised? Thanks

Posts: 203 Rapid City, SD | I thought Lloyd had a set up that would disable the rev limiter all together. Might be something to ask him. I just wouldn't know how dangerous that could be to your motor. |

| The engine management system does raise it a tad when you do his stuff, but no his stuff by itself will not change the programing from Vic. He did raise Lobsterhunters, but had the bike for months last winter. |

| As far as I know, he can only beat the rev limiter in 6th with the Visions.
That is what he did with Lobsterhunters.

Posts: 169 The Vic Shop - Central Iowa | Lloyd can reprogram your ECM to up the rev limiter. You will have to send in your computer and wait till he reflashes it and sends it back.
BTW I dunno if that was a joke but SOHC X2 cylinders = 2 cams. Thus referring to them as cams (plural) |

Posts: 311 Atlanta Area | Lloydz ecm reprogramming is one option. The other is to replace your VFC-3 fuel controller with the new PC-V. The Vic version of the PC-V has Rev-Extend (like the Harley version) which will take you to 6000 rpms in all gears except 6th. |

| Having Lloyd install mine this Saturday in Hooksett, NH. 6,400 rpm's in all gears plus he has changed the base map.
Devilboy posted on thevmc that he went from 104HP to 114HP with the extended revs.
Something about his fuel controller could not push enough fuel at that point.
My fuel controller has been reprogrammed to push more fuel, can't wait to see my numbers on Saturday. |

| Rev limiter is no longer a problem. 6400 is amazing plus he did some other programming.
Bike has never run this strong before plus my MPG went up by 8.

Posts: 3204 Memphis | The bikes with the cams and 6400 rpm limiter will be easy to spot. They'll be the ones with two oval spots on each fairing where the lowers used to be before they got blown off. |

| I was figuring 145-150.
Before in the mid 120's comfortably riding in 6th without hitting rev limiter. |

You need to double check your speedo. Rev limiter kicked in at 118-121 with stock ECM |

| My GPS had me at 122 once, comfortably riding.
124 another time, was climbing but backed off when the blue lights came on.
Speedo always show higher. |

Rev extend is a replacement ECM that has code written out to 6200RPM in all gears. This allows you to hold your shift for max power. Replacement is as simple as removing the seat, and removing 4 bolts that hold the ECM |

| Hi Kevin, Besides extending the Rev Limit, is there any other improvements to the ECM programming? Can the ECM be reprogrammed to eliminate the need for an inline aftermarket fuel controller? Hope you beaches are staying oil free.
Thanks, Tim
