The Victory Demo Tour Truck will be back in San Antonio at Kent Powersports on October 23-24, 2009.
Anyone want to get together?
Like the other stops on the tour the Cross Roads and Cross Country will not be available to ride but all of the other motorcycles in the fleet will be ready to roll.

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | i'm confused, i thought the truck would be here in Va the weekend. Catlin's is having an "unveiling" for the cross-dresser bikes. No demo rides for those, but for the others there will be. ??? Is there two trucks or am I way off base as usual... |

I think it is an economic crunch thing. We will get the trucks without the bikes here in San Antonio.
Or maybe we will get the new electric Polaris!!

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | I had a great time on the ride today. I rode a Black Vision Street and lonestarmedic was on the 2009 Midnight Cherry Tour Premium (MCTP) that they had in the fleet.
It was a blast.
lonestarmedic and I were talking about the radio controls and that they are hard to reach when holding the clutch. Since I have the CB, he said that it might be better to swap the positions of the CB/ICOM controls and the Radio/iPod controls.
On the way home I checked it out how that would work. While on the clutch I could easily and safely reach all of the CB controls but only Up Volume and Up Channel on the lower control.
I am going to give that mod a try.

Posts: 45 San Antonio Texas | I had a blast with Paul on Friday. He got to see my old Yamaha and we test rode bikes. The 09 Vision I rode felt 100% bettery than the dealer's demo bike. Torque from 1600 on up to redline. Radio was just changed out because of problems the day before. The new radio had so much bass it was vibrating the trunk!! It picked up very faint stations with no problems. The factory rep said that they new about the radio problems and the demo bike was one of the first to get the replacement radios that are now available. I ran the bass at +5 and the treble at +4. I had the volume at 16 and Paul told me he as listening to the radio behind me at 50+ mph as clear as a bell. And he had earplugs in!!!
The factory rep rode the dealer demo and instantly commented that the plugs were fouled and that it needed work. He said the same as I did, no torque and sick
Guys and gals, I am convinced that the Vision is indeed the bike you have all claimed. I will get moved to the new house and get ready to purchase. Thank you all for helping out with my decision.
Oh, I met Mitch (?) on Saturday when I went for a second ride. He has an 08 Cherry with the license plate STONEZ on it. Had a great conversation.
Hope to be a V-Pilot by end of February 2010

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Glad you were able to go back for another ride. Mitch is spursmvp here in Vision-Riders.com. I am glad you have met him. I still haven't.
It was weird to think that I do not turn the BASS all the way up on the new radio with the 2009 speakers.
I think that the new radio with aftermarket speakers would be great combination.

Posts: 377 O'Neill, Nebraska | Hey guys it was good seeing some of you at Kent Motorsports today. Some of our VMC friends from Austin rode down so they could check out the Cross Country.
Maybe one day we can all get together. Sure fun with the schedules. |
