How about a battery cable coming loose while in a 350 bike charity run at 50 - 60 mph?? Off--On-Off--On--Off--On pull in clutch quickly--pull over but don't dump it--watch out for scattering motorcycles--watch out for onlookers watching the parade--etc.,etc.,etc.

Off the road--into the trunk--grab the tool kit--On the ground, in front of all to see--attempt to tighten the cable(hot side)--the wrench with the kit ain't so good if the cable is on wrong!!
After I got home safely, I switched the little cable to the underside, leaving the main power cable on top, then added a lock washer (it loosened three times later in the ride), and it still loosens up. I have to check it each time I ride!! I think there is something wrong with the nut at the base of the battery cable tower. Looking to replace it with a double length nut or something similar.

Chrome won't get ya home, but it shore is perty sittin' there on the side o' the road!!

Sorry to hear of your problem, i redid all of my cables shortly after getting the bike from dealer. You might try using a small drop of blue loctite. Also look at the cable if it is in a bind it might be the cause.

That issue was part of a recall from Victory. Go see your dealer.
