| jrned - 2009-09-19 12:31 PM I installed a Garmin 2820 with the Victory mount and harness. The sound comes through my IC headset and the external speakers even though they are turned off. Anyone else have this situation and know how to mute the speakers? I don't have IC, but I have the 2820 and the Nolan N102 helmet along with the integrated bluetooth comms. Similar symptoms but here's what solves it. On my system, if bluetooth connection is ABSENT between helmet and GPS, then the voice output from 2820 is piped through the Vision speakers. If the 2820 detects the bluetooth signal from the helmet and establishes a connection, then the 2820 output is rerouted from the speakers, to the helmet headset. So, I continue to get music thru the speakers, but 2820 info goes to the helmet. Now if I want all output, music and GPS going to my headset, only, then yeah, you have to go into the 2820 menu, and mute. BTW, I use an iPhone for my music and also subscribe to XM, so I have a ton of options and flexibility. So, I can make and receive phone calls thru this system, thru the GPS, to my helmet. Vince.
