Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Does anyone know how to replace the badge light on the left side. Mine burnt out and I just noticed it last night. If it's easy or special bulb, etc?
Thanks, I did a search and still didn't find it. |

It's held on with two small screws on the back of the fairing. You might be able to reach it with very small hands, but more than likely you're going to have to pull the fairing off.
Not sure if it is a special LED. I think someone was playing with custom badges here a while back. I'm sure they'll chime in.
Mine burnt out as well, but I had them replace it at the shop while they had her tore down for other work.

Posts: 935 Rockford, IL | aarrgghh....I'm trying to remember how to get at the screws. I'm pretty sure that a regular screwdriver ain't going to work, nowhere near enough room to get one in there. But I think you can get in with a small ratcheting screwdriver though. Like this one http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?item_ID=75047&group_ID=11620 but the problem is you don't have one of these, and where you going to get one? Well...I suggest stopping by any local collision facilty and asking one of the tech's if you could borrow one for two minutes? |

Posts: 23 Fort Worth | I had my fairings off yesterday..... the lighted badges are held on with two small allen head screws from the back side. I doubt you can reach them without taking the fairings off. To get the fairings off start by removing the mirrors..... an hour later you'll be there. Not hard, just time consuming. |
