| Kevin is looking at a possible Cam Party in Chicago in October some time. I have the Cams installed already in my 09 but have offered him the use of my house. I live in Lake Zurich about 20 miles NW of the Airport. As he gets some interest, I am sure he will nail down a date. He needs a min of 4 08's to get started. I believe the cost is 1150 that includes the Lloyds cams, Lloyds air box, and VFC. all installed (Kevin, please comfirm price). Send me a note if interested!

Rockford, IL | Now you only need two one more. However I will not be using a VFC. I will be installing a Power Commander V instead of a VFC. I'm going to have to talk to Kevin a bit about which map and such. Frank....not to "butt-in" or anything but perhaps I can offer a better alternative than your garage. I have a collision facility that has a few tool boxes full of tools and I have two bike lifts here and can very easily get a few more lifts if needed. However the drawback is that depending on things like where and and construction and rush hours and such I'm anywhere between 45 min to 1.5 hours from Chicago. But I'm located just a few minutes off I-90, so pretty easy to find. I've got five restuarants within two blocks from me. Doesn't make a difference to me as to where....just thought I would offer and that perhaps it might make things quicker and easier? Or...I would tend to bet that Mr. Randy Weaver would probably be willing to offer space in his place??? Did you happen to ask him???

| Where it should be up to Kevin, not me. I alraedy have the cams in mine. As much as Randy is a great dealer, why would he support business that will take away from his own? Kevin's price is way under what he would charge (wish I would have waited). So no, I did not talk to Randy. |

As for tools. I ship my doctors bag of goodies, and need only a long pry bar, and a compressor to do my deal. I do the job on the ground so I don'r even need a lift. I little mechanics rolling chair is a HUGE plaus though. Where I do it is wherever is easiest for everybody else. Franks place sounds good, and I hate to move after he so graciously got this ball rolling.
Now for the PC-V. I have no problem installing it, but it is so new I know NOTHING about them. You may want to reconsider. The VFC is a proven performer in this aplication, and it has a great record for longevity. I do not know if the Vic version of the PC-V has rev extend, but the curves indicate that you will not get much more after the 5500 limiter kicks. As I said though I'll gladly install it for you, and WISH I knew more about it. |

Don't know about you, but every Holween that I remember (except last year) it's been raining and cold. Heck, I try and ride every month of the year although it's been hard the past few. |

Rockford, IL | I'm so sorry to say this but due to a pricing "problem/issue" I'm unfortunately going to be backing out of this party. I informed Kevin of this the other day (9-11) but I forgot to also inform the other members here. As mentioned previously I want to go with a PC V instead of a VFC. I'm pretty firm on this. Before anyone wonders or says anything, this is NOT an issue with Kevin. I asked him for a price on doing just the cams only and he gave me one. However it is more than I'm willing to spend on the labor for just the cams. However when considering all of the costs that Kevin has to incur to be able to do these parties and more importantly be able to make a fair profit for his labor....well his $1150 price is a good deal...when doing everything. But in order to make a profit he really can't afford and shouldn't really be expected to do any type of "special pricing" to do something different than the orginal package price.
