I've secured using the security tool to tighten the clamp- I just want to leave work one day & my Garmin 2820 is gone

It will only keep the honest people honest. It is fairly simple to yank it out of mount.
1/2 cover also keeps people honest and if you want to be 100 % sure. remove from mount, take into work or place in trunk!

That is why I modified the mount to accept my Tom Tom mount. I take it off and lock it up, out of sight. I rest easy all day long....

It only takes a moment to install the GPS into the mount, so I remove it when I'm not near the bike.  I keep the little star tool in the glove box.
