Hooked everything up according the instructions and the right trunk light stays on bright all the time. The left does what it is suppose to. Any ideas?

Thx $Bill

For those who haven't done this mod it is WELL WORTH the 3 hours to do....However, a NOTE for '09 bikes:

While doing the mod based on Firehawks GREAT pdf file. I found one hiccup (I guess only for the '09 models) when splicing the green/pink wire UNDER the seat DO NOT CUT THE WIRE use a tap splice and just use it to feed power to the 4710 module. Then trace the wire bundle up to an area right before it goes up into the tour pack and find the green/pink wire, here is where you CUT IT and place a scotch lock (spade connector) on the wire going UP TO THE TOUR PACK and tape the wire going back towards the main wire harness so it won't short to anything.

Other than that this is a GREAT mod and should make the rear of the motorcycle seen more readily when braking, turning or using the hazard lights.

I recently purchased the 4710 kit and was going thru the install on paper. I noticed the RTB Controller has (2) white pigtail connectors. The load equalizer has the mate connector to the
white pigtails on the controller. Which connector on the controller do I plug the load equalizer into?

Or does it matter!

I do not use the Load Equalizer.

My on issue on the install is that I wanted a flashing break lights on the tour pack with the break applied. Well I had this short piece of wire that had a small connector on it and it had "flash" printed on it.

I could not figure out where the "flash" wire went. It did not fit the load equalizer connectors. I finally looked on line at the 4710 and saw it in a photo sticking out from under the red heat shrink. I grabbed a flash light and my reading glasses and found it!

After plugging it in I was done!

Ride Safe!
