How is the sound quality? I found that MP3s generally sound horrible and I can't find the happy medium between a big file and a good sound out of the speakers from my GPS using the MP3 option.
I am concerned that the stereo portion of this will be lost going through the GPS. |

from my understanding my garmin is the receiver & will transmit thru my existing speakers (purchased the mount from arizona victory) |

| yeah, i run a little dieeferent set up than most. I have a zumo 550. I use the mp3 and xm music from it by the use of a 3.5 mm jack into the headset plug of the zumo and on the other end is a female ipod plug that i hook up to the ipod cord on the bike, All music, MP3 and XM, are high quality, and the voice cammands are 5x5. works great |

| ping away..... this is what you need:
http://cgi.ebay.com/UNIVERSAL-DOCK-CONVERTER-IPOD-CABLE-FEMALE-3-5M...
I bought 3 of them, but have ran the one I have for over 15,000 miles still crystal clear music from MP3 and XM as well as GPS voice commands all thru the speakers, and you don't have to cut or splice anything on the bike. All I did was drill a small hole for the wire to get into the bikes "glove box" and a .25 runner gasget to go around the wire at the entry I drilled. |

What i'm trying to do is subscribe to XM via my Garmin 2820, but it looks like I need their Garmin GXM30 XM Satellite Radio Receiver to be sucessful- I just didn't want to pay $200+
any suggestions?
