Just thought I'd ask. I know it shows up when someone PM's you but other than that I've been going through
Login>Home>Forum>Inbox. Is there a shortcut?. Guess I could post a shortcut to my inbox in my fav's folders.

Not from the home page, but in the forums (if you are reading this) you can click the inbox at the upper right. The alert on the home page is only there as a feature to let you know you have a PM.
