What do I need to do to gain access to the Articles, Lloydz blog, and knowledge base areas of this forum? Any ideas  why a user wouldn't have immediate access blows my mind!!!

I am logged in, and have it set to "remember me" each time I visit...Jsut strange how I don't have access to areas that should be open to the world to view....Articles, Blog, and Knowledge base.

I can't get in either. I log in every time I visit the site. I sent an email to the website administrator some time ago about this and never got a response. So I figure whatever is in there (if there is anything even there) can't be too important if it can't be shared.

There is absolutely nothing blocking the Articles pages.. Just click "articles" from the menu at top. I don't even think you need to be logged in

I think this is the screen to which joe is referring.

Where the heck is THAT page? I can't find it on www.vision-riders.com

Maybe you have a different browser?

I can get at everything - logged in or not. Just can't reply or add a thread unless logged in.

Thats the bottom of the page that appears after you log in. At least this is what I see on my Mac and my I-Phone (Safari on both).

AHA! Got it.
I logged off. Then quit my browser. Then started up again - went to our site and logged in. That's when I got the offending page (tarpits message).

Solution: Just click on "HOME" when you get that page.

As I related to joe schmoe, we're using the other forums as staging for what you actually see. For instance, the articles that you see when you click Articles at the top of the screen actually render the content from the articles Forum (that's you can't access), just in a more suitable form. Same thing goes for Reviews. Then there's other admin forums like Knowledgebase in which we are testing code changes before they go live to viewers. Lloydz blog is where Lloyd enters his articles which is then rendered for you in the Articles pages. You really aren't missing anything.

If you come across how you got to view all the categories, please let me know.
Thanks!
Jeff

Tarpits, could you email me miles @ vision - riders . com with the link of how you got the category view?

This is what most people see.

That is the screen that I see AFTER I select any item from the menu, then return to the forum from any other screen. I only get the full category view on initial login.

Email sent.
