Richmond, Virginia | CAUTION ( i was a tad late telling Charlie) ..sorry Charlie, but for any of you who buy these chrome V pegs, the kit will come with
a clear plastic adhesive pre cut piece of protective plastic that protects the peg. DONT PUT IT ON. In order for you to remove the piece from the paper backing your hands will leave big time finger prints in the adhesive which of course isnt removeable and once you
put the plastic cover piece over the chrome, all you will see are your fingerprints and not a clear shiney piece of chrome. toss those suckers away and use some regular chrome polish when needed and your pegs will look fine. now for Charlie, go rip them suckers off your bike boy ! |

Tucker, Ga. |  Now VaParadox you only have yoself 2 blame fo this but I've been waiting fo da Victory cone link! & I have already pulled da CSI finger print collectors off my V Pegs! Besides they aint exactly cut 2 da right size anyway, mine were a bit small, now they are fly papa!

Altoona, Wisconsin | I've had the "V" Pegs on my bike for a couple weeks now. They look great and I find them very comfortable (6 foot tall, 32in inseam). They're a better match for the looks of the Vision than the standard Victory highway pegs, IMO. Excellent quality, too. |

Tucker, Ga. | I'd be mo then happy to accept some Victory Cones as a gift! Those cones are nailed to the pavement with 8" spikes to save my spot! They're not really cosmetic but some red & black ones would be sweet! While yo at it take up donations for my chrome floor boards!

| I'm not real keen on those pegs, I believe I mentioned that when they were first posted. But I guess that's why they offer a variety of accessories for bikes, not everyone is on the same page. Glad you are happy with them.... T |

VA | VA, question. They look really nice, but when you stretch out, can you put your ankles over them? I liked that about my old forward control pegs. I would stretch out and put my ankles over the pegs. These look like they might cut the circulation off if I did that. Also, since they are chrome with no rubber grippers, do your feet feel like they want to slide off? Just curious. I've been eyeing the Victory highway pegs, but these do look nicer. |

Tucker, Ga. | If you look at the top edge of them they are shaped perfectly for your ankles. Now, I don't know how it would feel in shorts with bare skin but seeing that it gets a little (wink, wink) too hot for shorts it should do fine with jeans on or boots like some hi-techs or something. Your ankles will fit in that notch very nicely though. I love em, so far I just like putting my heal on the edge of the floorboards & the balls of my feet up on the v pegs. & no, in my opinion your feet don't slip or slide around all though the makers told me they are toying with making a rubber V that could, if a rider wanted, fit into that open V. I can say now that I think they are perfect the way they are. |

Tucker, Ga. | No, I don't think we're giants. These things don't seem to be mounted nearly as far forward as I've seen on other bikes with normal pegs. I think if you look at some of the pics I posted up above & pay close attention to where the V sits in relation to the shifter or brake you'll see they're not that far forward. Plus they sit at least 3" above the floorboards which will help you smurfs out even more. I think you'll be ecstatic over how good they look & feel. If you can reach the shifter then you'll be more than able to reach the V Pegs!
I just realized that I'm no longer a bar hopper, I'm a cruiser! I'm so excited!

Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Reach the shifter? When I took delivery - the shifter was adjusted to the most foreward position - damn near castrated myself getting the bike home - where I quickly moved the shifter and brake back to where I could use them.
First instructions to my Dealer:" Do NOT deliver this bike EVER without adjusting the brake and shifter to the new owner's body".
I can just reach the highway pegs - if I lean way back and slide my bum up to the front edge of the seat. NOT comfortable - and they are NOT adjustable. So it would be nice to find some that fit me. I am 5'8" and 65 years old. So I have stopped growing and am unlikely to be as fit as a young 50 year old. |

Tucker, Ga. | Well I would not consider 5'8" short so I still believe they will work for you. I would also recommend the utopia backrest which in conjunction with the V pegs is really sweet! http://www.utpr.com/vision.html by the way the bottom pic on the home page is my 10th minus the V Pegs! Unfortunately I don't think dealers are carrying these V Pegs so it's hard to see without buying 1st. Call them & they may be willing to give a refund if they just don't work for you. But I believe they will!

I was just thinking, I don't think they are adjustable, there are 3 holes on each V Peg. But if they are too far forward you may be able to remove the bolts, slide them back a ways & mark the position of the holes in the bottom of the floorboard & have someone drill & tap some new holes. Just a thought.
(of coarse I'd bet the farm the factory settings will work, I mean it's not like your 5'2" ) You may even be able to ask Jeff to drill all the holes a certain distance further back. It's worth asking.

I believe the design of the top portion was not meant for your ankles as yeah it would cut off circulation. The purpose is actually to put
the heel of your boot in the cup top. AHHHH makes sense to you all now doesnt it .......
With regard to your foot slipping, no it doesnt happen mostly because your heel would still remain on the running board. They are not adjustable, but in all honesty, they platform is so large that it makes it suitable for so many various foot/leg positions, that you wouldnt
really need any adjustment of it regardless of your leg length or height. I will tell you that by simply rotating both of my boots outward so the toe of my boot is resting on the Vpeg and the heel is still on the floorboard, you will feel NO engine heat if you have a set of the lowers installed and open properly. Thats one of the best things about these Vpegs no engine heat. Hey guys, any other questions just ask me. |

1. AngelChaz, your chrome cones are still drying.
2. My dealer as of a phone call just a while ago is going to carry them.
3. I also have a couple people in the Virginia area who have emailed me to come look at them on my bike and sit on it to see
how they fit before they order a pair. Those of us on here who already own them, we might make that offer to others
in our areas who are interested in them but cannot see an actual pair. So anyone who has them installed and is willing to
let others check them out on their bikes, please post your city state location . I seriously doubt that anyone who
orders them would ever consider sending them back based on their quality or their usefulness, its one of the rare products
that I feel deserves a total 100% A+. but what do i know, im chroming some nut cases orange street cones....... |

New Bohemia, VA | I like the pegs as well as the V-thingie, they look nice on the bike. I can't bring myself to get them because all I did was gripe at myself as to the spreadeagle stance I had on my Wing rolling down the highway.
What I'm looking for is something that will elevate my toe some toward the forward part of the board or at the tip over so I don't spread eagle and ride in a stance I'm comfortable with for the long distance. I'm working in my mind to get something fabricated to suit my need and will pass along when I get to it, but I hope it is soon as I need that lift when I strecth my legs out.
Even with this thought, I'm still way more comfortable on my Vision than riding in the car. That would explain one reason I ride all the time. It really has been therapy for my knees and hips. Plus when I was younger I used to like to ride with my head out the car window, but would yelled at because something might come along and chop it off. This way, my heads out in the wind all the time.... |

Tucker, Ga. | I think you would love these V Pegs! They don't spread your legs out as much as others & they are elevated quite a bit. What I like to do is place the my heel on the floorboard sometimes near the edge, sometimes not & the balls of my feet/toes up on the V Pegs and it is very comfortable. |

Well, the complex I live in doesn't have reserved parking but they let me put those cones there so no one takes my spot. Obviously it's not full proof but so far it's worked out & they are attached to the pavement with 8" spikes. I'm on my own when I take the truck out but that's ok as long as I can keep the Vic right outside my door. |

I'd like to find a good scenic route where there is two lanes and the opportunity to ride beside taking the video. Tucker, Ga. | Understood. That's my bike but not me on it. Wearing shorts may not be the best idea but I seriously doubt the inventors of the motorcycle ever envisioned a day where you had to wear a helmet & so much clothing that the point of riding the bike was eventually lost. Now, to be fair, they also may have never envisioned a bike doing over 100 mph. Everybody knows what's gonna happen if you get into an accident or even lay a bike down with no helmet & limited clothing but that doesn't necessarily mean one shouldn't do it. I wear a helmet, primarily because my state says I must, & I don't where shorts, mainly because that heat is a Ma F***a, but at some point the spirit of their intent is washed away. So if you wanna wear shorts and feel the the wind on your legs and live in a state (which is actually most) that doesn't require a helmet & want to feel the wind flow through your hair & all that happy horseshit then have at it. Those people may not be smarter for doing so but may be more of a purist. Again, lectures on what could happen to you are redundant & all too clear. |

Tucker, Ga. | Wow! what year is your Victory? That's actually pretty sweet! Because of that you had the ability within reason to put them where you want! Which means you could have put them further back towards the rear of the floorboards if you wanted. They are pretty sweet! The bike already looks like it could fly. When it goes down the road it looks more like a hover craft or a Dalorian(sp?) |
