Posts: 72 Newberry, Mi. | Has anyone tried using Race Tech Gold Valve Cartridge Fork Emulators in their forks?
They are supposed to allow damping changes and emulate an adjustable "cartridge" type fork.
I know they have been around for many years but have never tried them myself. |

Posts: 432 Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | I was under the impression that their advantage was convert damper rod forks to a pseudo cartridge fork. The forks damping on the VV is supposed to be a cut above damper rod design. |

| I've used them on my race bikes, but I can't see any advantage to using them on the Vision. I know some folks have used them in the TC's with good results but as previously mentioned it isn't being used with a cartridge on that bike.
Oh and they are only adjustable in that when servicing the fork you can make changes. Thats fine for SuperCross bikes which you rebuild and service forks every couple weeks, but not so much on a street bike like the Vision. |
