Posts: 212 Tavares, Fl | We were riding today and made a left at a T intersection on the side of a hill, a very dangerous intersection that I had not encountered before. I was watching a car pulling a camper coming from the left signalling a right hand turn. When I was sure he was going to turn I started into the the left hand turn when I noticed a car coming over the crest of the hill to my right, flying low. I was comitted to the turn and gave it a little too much gas and the rear wheel jumped out from under us putting us down on the left lay down point....I was able to wrestle it back up with out even putting my foot down and continued down the road. The rear lay down point scraping the road was really loud, so loud that the leader of the ride was probably about an eigth of a mile down the road and was on the CB wanting to know what the hell that noise was... The laydown point did its job and prevented injury to us and the bike, just the outside edge of the laydown point is now a little squared off.....

And now the answer is yes, you can, just keep moving. Incredible! Glad to hear that you're okay and well. Can we call you Square TOP? (tip over protection) |

Posts: 212 Tavares, Fl | It did square the left one off a little and the noise it created sliding on the pavement. I had another motorcycle come from nowhere and ask if we were alright. I want to remove them and powder coat them anyhow. I have no idea how I got the vision back up it all happened so quickly and the jerk coming over the crest of the hill bearing down on us had me really worried.....If it had been any other motorcycle I have owned we would have been down. |

I watched a Victory truck driver do a demo on a Vision where he was scraping arcs on the ground with the Vision's tipovers. It was very impressive.
Glad everything worked as billed!
