The event was last weekend and I got a chance to meet Tom from southern PA on his beautiful and freshly painted black Vision with Blue graphics. Also got to ride and meet with Arlen Ness, nice fellow. I told my brother I almost felt sorry for him as folks just seem to walk up and treat him like a long time friend, slapping his shoulder and such. To his credit he tolerates it well.
I posted a couple pic's in my gallery of Arlen and myself, but I think I'll let Tom post his own bike paint pic's. He has some really cool flame work on the saddlebags and a great POW symbol on the seat to dash cowl.
Me and Tom both asked Arlen to autograph our bikes and I had given this a great deal of thought. The best place I could think of was inside the trunk lid on the front ledge. It won't weather or get damaged at that location .
Anyhow was a great time and we rode with Arlen and a Medal of honor recipient (Wetzel) from the Dealership to the VA Hospital and then on to the main event downtown. Lots of vendors, live bands, stunt shows and stuff to watch/do. I'll post the dates for next years Roar as soon as they schedule it and maybe some others can make the run.

I went to the one where Peter Fonda showed up... some ten years ago. I did not have a motorcycle at the time and I knew parking was going to be atrocious, so I rode my recumbent bicycle downtown. If anything attracts more attention than a Vision, its one of these things... especially at a motorcycle rally!

Ever wonder how it would look, ride, handle, with a car tire on the back?

John, wish we'd ahve known you were coming. We could have gotten you some directions to the dealer where you could have met Arlen and ridden with us. Maybe next year? Hey free hotdogs and chips, lol.......
