If I got me a white vision, I would need a white leather jacket with tails. |

Actually, I like appliance white more than pearl white. Goldwing made an appliance white a few years back. The new (2008+) Goldwings are pearl. Big difference to me.
I will say I think the pearl is a classier look, but not cleaner.

"Look honey, the new 2010 Vision comes in both white and blue! They couldn't have chosen better colors. I think I like the white, which one do you like?"

That theme's been done. They have one in the forum pics somewhere. Guy had painted the old Enterprise murial on one saddlebad and the Klingon ship murial on the other. But it wasn't white, it was black if I remember correctly. |

Glad I have the most popular color to date. However, I think the new blue will be it going forward! |

I am thinking about riding 337 from Bandera to Camp Wood Saturday. Have you got time to ride?
I would ride all of "Three Sisters" but I have to back in SA by 5:00 PM for a party Saturday night. I would like to stop at the Texas Motorcycle Museum for lunch.

Posts: 72 Newberry, Mi. | Hi all,
First post here. I gotta say the Vision 8-Ball suits me perfect. The all black is a perfect start to a custom paint job and even though I prefer shiny valve covers, my guess (I hope) is that they are aluminum and not chrome under the black finish. IMO, I'll take professionally polished aluminum over chrome any day.
Although I have to go back to the middle east for the next 8 to 10 months, I'll be putting money down as soon as possible.
My current bike is a 99 V92C I bought new in Sept. of 98. It's #0065 |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | My 2 cents and most of you probably wont agree, but thats fine........... Im still right anyway ha ha ha
I knew the 2010 was going to be pearl white. What disappointed me was that the bike is totally "whited" out. Whch from an aesthetic
perspective makes all the uniqeness of the bike all but disappear. The fins, the curves, all of what makes this bike so outstanding to stare at is now nothing more then a 9 foot long marshmallow, or worse a bland cop cruiser. While I love the pearl white (you guys need to see it in person), I suspect that many of us who buy it or trade up for it will opt to either chrome panel it or swap it for the OEM brushed aluminum panels to bring the bike back to its original unique look. As for the 8ball (why dont they just call it a blackout), again, take something beautiful and paint it all one color so you cant see squat. I agree with Rob41 that it makes for a great aftermarket paint job, but to buy this particular bike and leave it all blacked out is in my opinion, a dis service to the artistic nature of the form. Its like painting the Mona Lisa in a dark room, with black clothing and a black drape over her face... how many people do you think will rush to stare at THAT. |
