Posts: 411 Dallas, Texas | Per my Dealer's Service Manager, Polaris has an updated gas cap for Visions that are having issues with the gas cap losing pressure, and leaking/spilling fuel. He claims that they don't want to cover it as a warranty item, but to charge the Dealer or us(Owners) for the gas cap. Doesn't make any sense. Why charge for something that they had a faulty design/fabricater for? Why not just a simple threaded gas cap? It is covered in the fairing anyway and wouldn't show. Plus threads will seal better. Another Victory "screwed the pooch" item, if you ask me. | |
