Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Sorry, dont get excited over my subject line. All I know is that one of the two new models will be
a smaller touring bike for people who feel the Vision is too large. The other model is unknown.
I suspect to compete with everyone else, the only models missing in the line up are either
a crotch rocket style bike, or an off road dirt bike model. I cant see another cruiser model being necessary. 200 new accessories coming out as well. My dealer is email me photos this coming week while they are at the Victory preview show this week. |

according to the Victory "webinar" last week. The two models will be heavyweight cruisers to be in a market that we lost share in. The verbiage implies that they will be along the TC line. In that vein Victory has had a couple of mules running around. One based on the Vision platform, and the other on a stretched steel frame[KP,Vegas] I have dug through everyone I can, and have not been able to get it out of any of them. I honestly thought they were going to weight till next year.
I'm thinking it will be a KP based bike with a stretched swing arm, hard bags, and true duals. I think one version will have a fairing, and one will have a basic windshield. Both will have a more conventional look then the current line up
All this said....I'm prolly wrong |

| Like the red one in the slide show? Well, let's wait and see. Having bought three motorcycles in less than 15 months, I'm pretty much out of that game. I'd like to see 'em hit on something between the Vision and the Pin. Take the Road Glide on face to face, eh? |

Told you I was prolly wrong. Here is a post by a reasonably reliable person on the VMC....
As someone already mentioned in another thread, there will be 2 "traditional" baggers: the Cross Country, which will have dual exhaust, hard bags and fork-mount fairing with radio and other useless bells and whistles; and the Cross Roads, which has a windshield instead of the fairing. The info I have says they are based on technology derived from the CORE concept bike. Those who think the Kingpin fenders look too much like an Indian (I don't see the resemblance) will probably think the new bagger looks too much like a Stratoliner. The photos look great, but I expect a lot of bitching and whining here.
New 8-Ball versions of the Vision and Hammer. They both look very black.
No, I can't post the photos yet.

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | saw the 8 ball vision its the bike for you if you are into all blacked out bikes. my opinion, when you black out an entire bike you lose
all of the creative flow and curves and details esp with a bike as large as the vision, you might end up looking like a big black blob going down the road (which im sure Victory has done market tests, and found that many of you would like),, so lets see the show is
22nd of July my dealer is sending me photos while they are there so im kinda excited but then changing the cats litter box excites me too...... |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | never heard ANYONE call the Vision that, pretty offensive to its owners and to the gay community. guess they consider a Harley
a "lil dick homophobe wagon"? just kinda goes to show that some of us have evolved and some still beat our women over the head and drag em back into the cave |

I would like to see a dual purpose bike.
The Vision IS a dual-purpose bike. It rides real well and it attracts tons of attention.
Functional and fashionable.... dual purpose!
As for a little vision.... how about "glimpse"? |

Babe magnet or Babe magnet carrier!
Imust confess that this might be a bit misleading. The Vision COULD be a babe magnet carrier, but I am actually ugly as a bucketful of armpits.

The Vision COULD be a babe magnet carrier, but I am actually ugly as a bucketful of armpits. da trailbarge The Vision is so ugly that everywhere I go in the US and Canada people crowd around it saying how cool looking it is. They hang out of car windows to take pictures of it while riding. The Vision gets more attention than any other bike I am riding with or happens to be in the given area. The general public loves the looks of the Vision. I have gotten more compliments on the Vision then anything I have ever ridden or drove including the following; Custom Big Dog chopper, Custom Harley Deuce, Harley Ultra, Gold Wing, Custom Kawasaki Vulcan 2000. Custom Victory V92C, Custom American Iron Horse chopper, Custom Dodge Viper, Custom Mercedes AMG SL-500, Porsche Turbo Carrera, DeLorean, various corvettes and other muscle cars. Almost every review I have read on the Vision the test rider said they had never ridden a bike that got as much attention and as many compliments as the Vision. If I was as good looking as the Vision life would be great.

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | I was at an out of the way post office on Friday. I carried my helmet in with me and two of the four customers that walked in behind me asked if that was my motorcycle outside with big smiles on their faces.
On the way out, another customer (a nice woman in her mid fifty's driving a Buick that was checking a PO box for the office where she worked) came out and could not take her eyes off of the Vision. She said, "That is a one beautiful bike!" I thanked her and told her you should see it when it is clean...I ride it every day and it is very dirty.
This was only twenty minutes in the life of a Vision owner. |
