Kerrville Texas ( now a homeowner on six acres)
If you have time, "the trail ridge road" is a great ride. starts at about 4,500 ft. ele. and goes all the way to about 11,000 or 12,000 ft.
Take your jackets and rain gear as you may need them.
Starts around longmont Colorado and goes through Estes Park and comes out on I 70 about 30 miles East of the Eisenhaur Tunnel.
(If my memory is right) IT is a great ride!!

If I had to choose between trail ridge road and hwy 14 running over trail ridge I would choose hwy 14 everytime. It's more interactive. We climbed rocks and played in the river along most of the way plus no traffic to speak of. There is also a pretty cool waterfall along the way. Either way yo'll have some great roads to ride.

Pikes peak is another awesome ride. I've done it twice on a bike and would do it again. I would skip the Royal Gorge at $24 a person to get in what a ripoff.
