northwest florida | Has anyone drilled out their stock mufflers yet? or has anyone found an aftermarket muffler to fit? |

Rockford, IL | There are quite a few aftermarket mufflers for the Vision. Do a site search here and you will come up with tons of posts regarding all of the options.
As far as drilling out the stock units I don't think anyone here has actually done this to thier own mufflers yet. But there is a guy on Ebay that you can send your stock units to and he recores them and ships them back, this runs about $225 plus the shipping. It is the lowest cost amongst the options. And some have said they sound the best...but this is just opinion though. I'm looking forward to the AVR so some of the different systems can be heard and some general consensus can be found. |

Regina Sask. Canada | Hi I just Drilled out the mufflers and the sound is just a little more and the 2009 Vision seems to rev and run just a little freer
1 1/8" hole saw and a 24 " extenion and not too loud |

Springfield, TN | If you want to be economical... look for a thread on Thrush muffler installation. Inexpensive and not too difficult. |
