| I rode US 129 last weekend and had a great time. If you go you gotta stay at the Two Wheel Inn. They have rooms with bike garages complete with a garage door opener.
Many riders turned down the trip because they were scared of dumping the bike on the corners or a semi running em off the road but it was really just another road. Stay within you abilities and your good. Push it and you and you bike will be on a flatbed.
We rode up from SC, did the 140 mile loop including the tail. Then the next day we road the tail again and headed to Mountain Home National Cemetary to honor a riding friend who died too early in a car accident. After 850 miles I gotta say...dang my bike needs washed.
