Posts: 22 eastern NC | Picked up my new Cherry Red Tour Premium the Fri before Thanksgiving, just found this site last nite. Glad to see the Vision has their own site. Ordered the plate to replace the tour pack and want to swap them this w/e. Anyone do this yet? My manual hasn't arrived yet, so instructions on how to do this would be appreciated. Also, located in eastern NC, any others nearby?? |

Posts: 143 Birmingham, AL 08 MC Tour Premium 2012 Bronze Mist | Congratulations on your new bike. I too wanted to order the plate but haven't yet. So many things to do to the bike, but I wondered what manual you referred to that you haven't received yet.
Service manual? If so, I'm sure many of us would like to know the part number or how to get it.
Sunny and 55 in Birmingham today, perfect riding time. |

It is not too hard I have done it twice. It takes 15-30 minutes and it gets easier each time.
Happy New Year

Posts: 22 eastern NC | Dealer will get me a service manual as soon as he can. Was 79 here yesterday. Took the bike for a 250 mile ride. I like this bike more and more each time i ride it. Sure turns alot of heads too. I hate to stop because I waste riding time having to let folks look at it and answer questions. |

Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | Welcome!! I am going the OTHER way, and am awaiting my trunk from the dealer, so I can finish installing the CB/intercom, antenna, rack, etc! I have had the seat off twice, and the center console as well. The trim piece looks to be really easy as well, so i would think the trunk would be a snap! Congrats on the new Vision!-----Metalguy |

Posts: 22 eastern NC | Devilboy, thanks for the instructions. Took the trunk off and put the plate in. I want to ride it to see the difference, but raining here today. Will do the test ride tomorrow and then the wife says the back half of her throne must go back on! At least it is easy and quick enough to change out whenever I want a different look (as long as the wife isn't riding that day). Sure am glad I found this site. Would like to find others close to the east coast to ride with htis spring. Let me know if anyone is interested.
