| I just returned home from a 370 miles trip each way to see KevinX for the Lloydz Cams install. the only 2 bad things about it is I didn't do it sooner, and now I have sore cheeks from smiling for the 5+ hour ride home.
Everyone has heard what good things it does for the bike and they are true. on the same trip back home in reverse with me throttleing harder I gained 3.4 MPG and the bike just loves to take off. Can't wait to get it in the North Georgia mountains this week.
It was a great time meeting and talkin to KevinX, he and his family are good people.....if you go down, make sure you take Kevin up on the Pork Chop offer, good eats! |

Posts: 506 Woodland Hills, CA | Hey Kevin, any idea of when you will be coming out to southern California/Arizona to do the cams? I know you have been waiting to get them, but I was wondering if you had any sort of update. I am still very interested, along with a couple Vision riders in Ventura County. Thanks.

Cams came in just in time for the VFC3 to go on backorder
Everything should be in place at the end of this week, and I can start firming up a date. |

Posts: 64 Columbia,MO | i have the cams just need them installed now. I have the Lloyds intake and vfcIII installed already. About how long does it take to install the cams and do you have to pull the motor or just drop it down? My mechanic has never done a set and I was wondering if there was any tricks to make it easier. The help would be appreciated. |

Well it looks like things are FINALY going to all be in one place today, or tomorrow. I will then be able to schedual dates. I am glad I waited though as all of the delays would have had me with a couple of tickets for nothing |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Can the cams for an '08 along with the intake plate be installed without any other modification and get the gains cited? I'm running stock exhaust and will stay with them until they rot, but would like the HP and gas mileage gains from the cam and plate. So what else would I need to do after the plate and cams are installed? |

Love to visit Canada, but need to get my passport straight first |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Thanks ScoreBo and Kevin. It is an obvious answer, but had to ask. I'm adding the cams commander and intake to my wishlist when I do the exhaust on mine when the time comes. I'm about 2k away from pulling the exhaust to do my belt and I'm going to put all new gaskets and check for the phantom leaks. Maybe at the 90K mark I'll do the new exhaust if it will hold out that long, That's just a year and a half away. |

Maybe we can get him to do it in Detroit or Port Huron and get the Michiganders and the "Canadian-dudes" in one whack. |

Even after having a local mechanic install my LLoyds equipment..(what a difference!).I would still like to have Kevinx look at my VFC to insure it is correct...not to mention to meet the guy everyone speaks so highly of.

Agreed. Also I have an excellent relationship with Lloyd, and do not want to pick the crops from his garden |
