However he warns that it is not a plug & play replacement. Some grinding and maybe electrical skill is needed. Interesting idea just the same. He indicates that the replacement hi/low beam is now brighter than the Vision's center HID beam.

I was thinking more along the lines of replacing the existing halogens with something like the sylvania silverstar ultras. A little cheaper thsn HID but have a bluer beam. Plus they are a direct replacement. The stock high beams with the center HID is more light than I will ever need.

The 4300K lights really light up the road. It was a PITA to rewire their harnesses, but resulting light is great. It makes the halogens on my car appear non-existent.
